Katie Tallo is an Ottawa-based writer and director with two decades of experience. She has degrees in Film, English and TV Broadcasting, has won support from The Canada Council, The Ontario Arts Council, CTV’s Fellowship Program and Telefilm Canada, and has attended the prestigious Women in the Director’s Chair and Summer Institute of Film and Television Workshops. She is also an active board member with Creative Women Workshops Association (CWWA). Katie has written and directed dozens of short films, television series, videos,  documentaries and movies, and has established a reputation as an innovative and hard-working creative professional. She lives in Ottawa with her husband and daughter.
