I have been making up imaginary worlds since I was an eight year old obsessed with my miniature farm set. Eventually, I put down the cows and earned degrees in Film, English and TV Broadcasting, attended the prestigious Women in the Director’s Chair and embarked on a career in filmmaking. As an award-winning writer and director, I spent more than two decades collaborating on projects in animation, film, television and on the web.
In 2011, I began writing my first novel, 22 Mondays, which went on to win the top prize in an international novel contest (The 2013 Mslexia Women’s Novel Writing Competition). I am currently working on my second novel, Gracie’s Kiss, a mystery thriller set in my hometown of Ottawa, Canada, where I currently live with my husband.
